Hurricane/Storm Preparation Tips.
Living in the tropics has to be one of the best places on Earth to live. The abundance of tropical foliage and exotic critters is astounding! Along with all this beauty that nature envelopes us in, we also must cope with natures power. Most residents in Florida have been here long enough to have experienced a major (cat 4+) hurricane. Below is a satellite image of Frances which came through Broward county in 2004. An even more recent storm was Wilma. Wilma was a category 5 hurricane which left us without power for weeks!
